Guest Pictures: Scottsbluff Trip

This weekend Mom and Dad went to Scottsbluff in the Nebraska panhandle for a little anniversary trip. They visited Scott’s Bluff National Monument, Dome Rock, Chimney Rock, and Courthouse and Jailhouse Rocks, which were important markers along the Oregon and Mormon Trails. (I asked mom if she wanted to write about them, but she said no.😞) They also golfed on two different courses in the area. While I couldn’t post all of the pictures she took on her trip, I think I got the best ones.

Before she left, Mom and I went out so she could practice with her camera. When she was in college, she took a photography class, but of course that was before digital cameras, so she doesn’t really know how to set everything in her DSLR. It was really fun to go to a local splash pad and refresh my own memory on shutter speed. Thanks again mom for lending your pictures!
